Daring Greatly and The Gifts of Imperfection came to me at what was an immensely pivotal point in my life's story thus far. In a climate where the guise of man is to be constantly stoic and unwavering amidst the most raging of life's tempest, learning to embrace imperfection and grow in vulnerability is essential for survival. I mean it no exaggerated sense when I say this lesson saved my life. Since acquiring this perspective, it's been my firmly held belief that this sentiment would prove particularly potent to those in the fringes of society that can't culturally access the same message.
